IMPRESSIONS FOR AYLA ROSALES / DREAMCHASER LUNA

Ayla Rosales is, at a glance, as normal as can be. A bright and cheerful high school senior, Ayla gets by with okay grades but makes up for her inadequacies with an endlessly positive attitude. With a fondness for cooking and baking, Ayla's looking for her place in the world so close to graduation - and finds it in a way she didn't expect, what with actually being the legendary warrior Dreamchaser Luna and all. Together with the rest of her friends, they aim to both protect Earth and revive the magical world of Songe. But it might not be that easy...

AYLA IS:

• An 18 year old high school senior. She's stands at 5'3" and is rather thin and petite, with olive brown skin, black hair, and a smattering of freckles across her cheeks, shoulders and knees. She favors cute clothes in blues and pinks. As Dreamchaser Luna, her hair turns cornflower blue and she gets a very cute cloudlike ensemble.
• From California, specifically Montebello Restfield, which borders Los Angeles De Angelis. Ayla is Mexican American but terrible at Spanish.
• A huge fan of magical girls. While name brand magical girls wouldn't exist in her setting for copyright reasons, pretty close knockoffs do! For reference, Pretty Guardian Sailormoon is Beautiful Protector Blazer Sun in her setting and the Pretty Cure franchise is the Lovely Pure franchise. I'm not sure what Madoka would be called in her setting!
• A magical girl herself! She's very excited about it.
• Almost completely powerless outside Dreamchaser form. I say almost because her magical powers will keep her from getting energy drained, but that's about it.
• As a Dreamchaser, Luna has the powers of Moonlight and Water. She can summon a bow shaped like a crescent moon and fire arrows from it. She's magically enhanced to be durable, stronger and faster, and her magic has an imaginative aspect to it - as long as you think you can do it, you probably can.
• Ayla is the kind of person to overwork herself without a care and has trouble relying on others.
